Why are the British so much more elegant than us Americans?

I can't imagine Britist parents swearing around they're children but I can imagine American parents doing it.|||You're stereotyping the British. There are trashy people in the UK just like there are trashy people over here. Not everyone in Britain is/acts posh.|||Agree with above! Definetely. I'm British, and I can tell you that the majority is quite chavvy and unsofisticated.


Especially with the whole new imported trend (from the US) of hiphop and rap and all that.. utter crap. Now there's a whole generation of "G" wannabes, who of course, completely fail to look anything like "bling".


It's upsetting really.|||You've been fooled by the media. Britain has some big problems with feral inner city people in housing projects who've wouldn't know the meaning of elegant if it bit them.





The main difference between the US and the UK is that the UK doesn't have many fat people walking around in track suits with buckets of fried chicken.
