What BRAND of clothes to wear on COLLEGE CAMPUS make you look ELEGANT?

What brands and what kind of clothes make a female undergraduate student look elegant on a college campus?

I hope to have answers from both guys and girls. Thanks.|||that first answer is ridiculous. abercrombie and true religion are NOT elegent. sure they're fun, but they are strictly trendy and you will look like a clone.

the girls who stand out on my campus are the girls who keep it simple. skinny/straight leg jeans, peacoats, scarves, sweaters, sundresses, flats, simple classic chic. the girls who stand out negatively are all blonde, too tan, wear uggs and abercrombie, etc.

i'm not saying that stuff is bad, but its not elegant, its trendy and cliche.

just use your unique style, and walk tall and proud, those are the girls that stand out. =)|||For me, it would have to be True Religion, Guess, Abercrombie and Fitch, Juicy Couture, etc. But if you can't afford that kind of stuff, H%26amp;M has a lot of good clothes for amazingly low prices.|||who the f*ck cares. it's school. wear sweats so it'll look like you're not trying..but of course you are..|||u want to be comfy because u gonna b walkin to different fl or different areas in the campus. Depends on you do you like dressin up or causal. my school is known as the fashion school I just dress the way I'm feeling|||Why look elegent lol! I wear sweats and hoodies to class! If I have to dress up I wear Old Navy. They are cheap. And they look amazing!|||northface

lacoste|||Well if you're looking for elegant than I don't know if thats the same as professional .If it is then try; The Gap, New York and Company, and also Banana Republic and Nordstrom will also have a lot to choose from. But, if you're looking for something lower priced The Gap would be the way to go.|||how many times are you going to ask this damn question!?

most people where sweats or pjs to class, honestly.|||Forever 21, Charlotte Russe, Ann Taylor Loft, H%26amp;M, New York %26amp; Company....All sell sophisticted/elegant/gorgeous clothes. :)

Hope I could help!! :)|||To be honest, the brand of clothes doesn't really matter, just as long as you're clothed. What really matters on campus is what kind of person you are, and also what kind of grades you make and the quality of work you turn in. Respect is earned by your character, not your clothes. Yes, there are people who dress "rich" and preppy and there are also those who buy their clothes from Goodwill.

Personally, when I see people in college with brand-name clothes they seem to be rich and spoiled and they want to keep those annoying "cliques" from high school going just because they don't want to take the time to meet other people who are different than them. That's just a trend I've noticed from my time in college and not always true. Some of those people do earn their own money and can afford nice clothes and good manners and common decency. It all depends on the person.|||I don't really think elegant and college go together. When I think elegant, I think very nicely put together clothes. Satin, dressy, gorgeous. Something you wear to a formal. That kind of thing.

And believe me, no one dresses elegant to go to class. Even the girls that wear dresses to class are wearing sun dresses and flip flops. College is a very relaxed area.|||GUESS all the wayyyyyyyy....love GUESS
