A friend of mine will be getting married sometime next year in Iowa. Price isn't a factor.. Does anyone know of a really nice elegant place to hold the reception?|||The Ledges State Park (north of Des Moines and near Ames) is beautiful and has several beautiful lodges. There are a number of beautiful old country churches in Iowa. Check with Iowa Tourism.|||Depends on where in Iowa... I takes 5 hours (apprx.) to drive east to west across the state of iowa so depending on the part of the state there are several places for your friend to consider.
