I have found several vintage french circus posters as my inspiration but am looking for fabrics to pull it together. I need the room to be adult oriented (flat screen, antique card table, etc...) but am mainly needing it for my 4 year old daughter to use to play. They might have pics online of their interiors-- amazing treatment of fabrics-- not necessarily circus prints but different fabrics coordinated to bring about the circus inspiration.

I would use a red and white striped tent theme on one wall (preferably where she is)
You get get elephant decals, circus wagons the whole bit in murals. Give it a try.|||another thing you could look for at a garage sale is one of kids old "wonder horses"...the kind they bounce on! Then paint it like a carousel horse and drill a hole through the middle and put it on a brass pole.
