Madres-cuban/puerto rican food- its really good and they have really good sangrias. Expensive but worth it.
You should go to yelp.com and look for: elegant restaurants in Los Angeles and personally whenever i feel like trying something new, i go there and im able to see reviews from regular people who have gone there.
