What type of flower says "sophisticated," "elegant & classy"?

Hey there :)

Im working on a design and im going for a classy theme, something sophisticated and elegant. I was wondering if anyone could give me some suggestions. I"ll appreciate it =)|||i think these lilies are just that

http://www.nparks.gov.sg/blogs/garden_vo鈥?/a>

:)|||Roses are most classy.|||To me a lily is the most elegant of flowers; an iris isn't bad either, though|||Something white as most classy people wear white. It shows how clean you are by not touching anything that will dirty it up.|||rose, orchid|||Roses says "sophisticated".

Tulips says "elegant %26amp; classy".

Good Luck, Hope This Helps!

%26lt;3|||If you have a choice of two different types of flowers, I would choose a red rose and then something white to go with it (but not a white rose)

Do you regularly think Russian women have elegant faces?

It's been to my own personal experience that they tend to have very refined features. (I'm neither a russian or a woman)

Even cartoon characters like Anastasia have that "Russian" look.

I know to each their own and beauty is in the eye of the beholder but I think Russian people, particularly the women tend to have a more "elegant" look.

Do you agree or disagree?|||unless it's in the movies, i disagree. when i was watching the olympics all the russian women looked really manly in the face...|||he-he, thank you!

Of course women in the Olympics would look masculine - they play sports!! They have their muscles built up.

Most girls in Russia however are very elegant and pretty. They can't go to the store in sneakers, baggy shirt, and no make-up, it's very uncommon to them (us), and some are keeping up the tradition here in the U.S. also. About faces - yea, very nice faces:)|||There are beautiful and ugly people everywhere. But I know what you're talking about, there are some really nice looking Russian women. I had a math professor, she was an older Russian lady, very elegant and haughty, and she had this delicious accent. I had terrible crush on her.|||I totaally agree with u

haha I am am actually a russian myself :)

and yes russians have more of a femine look... I have never seen a russian women look masculine

unlike spanish and italian|||Yes actually. Russian girl in my first hour, very pretty. Very distinctive facial features.|||Disagree.|||I live in a place full of russian and Ukrainian people.

most of the women are ugly, not to be racist or anthing.|||yeah ***** russians rule!!!|||Kellie, WOW and Kristine, you are just jealous!|||naw man,

i live in a place where theres uhm a few russian males%26amp;%26amp;females

and MOST of them are pretty unattractive..

But there is a FEW exceptions,

like maybe 1 outta 15 russian girls are pretty

Why are the British so much more elegant than us Americans?

I want to be as elegant so you guys! It's my dream to move to london one day!

But seriously, why?|||Cos were all a bunch of wankers mate, there is nothing that elegant about England.|||you sound as if you are taking your opinions from the television. you should never do this as it often gives a false image. go visit somewhere before you make assumptions|||Honestly, the Brits are just normal people like us. Don't let the movies fool you.|||No different they are the same|||its not all tea and crumpets my dear!

we do have a lot of history, which some people think makes us superior, but really we are just the same as everyone else!

Is it possible to have an "elegant" wedding at an aquarium?

I am thinking about having my winter wedding at an aquarium. I would want to use the colors silver and navy. The aquarium is beautiful, and it is lit up with beautiful aqua tones at night, but I wonder if it will come off as a sophisticated and elegant wedding, or if it will just seem like a fun party?|||I think it is a great idea to have a wedding at an aquarium. I couldn't have a wedding at an aquarium because it was too far away and most of our guests would need to be in hotels. This was too costly for us and for our guests.

If you have the opportunity then go for it. It would be very memorable seeing all the sea creatures and water. I like the silver idea but I'm not sure about the color navy. You should consider lighter colors because you want some contrast with the blue of the aquarium, and at the same time, you want to to create light to your theme to make certain things stand out such as center pieces, table covers etc.|||I think what you do food wise will have a huge effect on how elegant it seems. If you're serving your guests simpler foods in a more casual setting, it's not going to come off how you want it to. However, if you state that it's a black tie or black tie optional affair, so that everyone is really dressed up, and have waiters walking around with champagne , maybe even a formal dining area (even if the aquarium only has a cafeteria, I bet a decent caterer can dress it up with tablecloths, candles , etc.). The important thing to remember is that this is your wedding day, and that it's the marriage that really matters. The party lasts just a few hours, but hopefully what it's celebrating will last a lifetime.

Good luck, and congratulations!|||Yes, there are two aquariums in my area and I've seen pictures of wedding reception held there. It's unique, but definitely done very elegantly. Usually, the catering and design companies hired to decorate the area, do so very well and play on the lighting and shadows from the water.

The only way you could really make this type of reception tacky would be by making it too gimmicky. Don't do a theme, don't have fish favors or beachy type of centerpieces. Don't have shells or whatever.

Do everything simple! I would suggest a ton of candlelight and lots of color added with linens.

I googled "aquarium weddings" and I found this picture. It's really elegant, but in a unique way. http://www.weddingvenues-london.co.uk/us鈥?/a>|||You can have both!

Personally, I'd choose a lot of metallics and crystal in your decor. With all the reflection from the light and water, the effect will be dazzling.

http://www.brides.com/upload/images/l/o/鈥?/a>|||Sounds like it can be really beautiful to me. The aquarium isnt like a circus, many of the displays are gorgeous and mesmerizing. You.ll have some gorgeous pictures. Wonder if the aquarium will allow a wedding?|||That would be amazing! Of course it would be elegant, as long as you rent out the place privately, so ther ewon't be families and crowds running around everywhere. I think it would be elegant, fish are always beautiful and peaceful. Congrats!|||what a great choice of venue! It can happen- I would ask to see pictures of previous weddings from that venue you're using for ideas. i wouldn't serve fish, though :P just a thought!|||Your first reaction when you hear its at an aquarium does not say elegant. You would have to work very very hard to turn it that way. People will probably laugh at where its at.|||It will be fun, unusual and memorable for sure. I do not know about "elegant" though.

Good luck|||Anyplace can be made elegant or cheesy. It's all in the details.

Why are the British so much more elegant than us Americans?

I want to be as elegant so you guys! It's my dream to move to london one day!

But seriously, why?|||are you serious?

you have obviously never been here

you are in for a shock|||ha well cus were cool

ha tbh i have no idea

lmao|||I think they're just more traditional. It also has a lot to do with upbringing. I can't imagine Britist parents swearing around they're children but I can imagine American parents doing it.|||You're stereotyping the British. There are trashy people in the UK just like there are trashy people over here. Not everyone in Britain is/acts posh.|||Agree with above! Definetely. I'm British, and I can tell you that the majority is quite chavvy and unsofisticated.

Especially with the whole new imported trend (from the US) of hiphop and rap and all that.. utter crap. Now there's a whole generation of "G" wannabes, who of course, completely fail to look anything like "bling".

It's upsetting really.|||You've been fooled by the media. Britain has some big problems with feral inner city people in housing projects who've wouldn't know the meaning of elegant if it bit them.

The main difference between the US and the UK is that the UK doesn't have many fat people walking around in track suits with buckets of fried chicken. Other than that the elegance level is about the same.|||trust me we have some right horrible scum living here!|||Breeding of course young lady, breeding...|||If you think that, God forbid you ever go to an English pub.

What is a good website for beautiful & elegant women's canes?

I have decided to go ahead and purchase a cane to use during my 3 day long destination wedding in January. Because it's for such a formal occasion, I would like to get some ideas about where I can find some beautifully elegant canes. I especially like the idea of something vintage looking, specifically with a vintage glass handle. Do you know of some great websites to recommend? |||Here's some I have or have longed for:
